About My University

St. Teresa International College (STIC) is a bilingual private college located in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand, with a focus on developing future global professionals. Known for its multicultural environment and practical teaching programs, STIC empowers its students to pursue careers in education, business and health sciences with a strong ethical foundation.

The college is fully accredited by Thailand’s Ministry of Education and its Graduate Diploma in Teaching Profession meets the requirements set by the Teachers Council of Thailand, making it one of the few pathways available to foreign teachers like me who want to continue their teaching journey in Thailand legally and professionally.

About This Diploma

The Graduate Diploma in Teaching Profession is an 18-month teacher training program designed for current or aspiring educators in Thailand. It’s aimed at teachers, both Thai and international, who want to become licensed through the Teachers Council of Thailand.

The diploma covers key areas such as curriculum planning, learning management, educational quality control, ethics and professionalism. What makes it especially valuable is the balance between academic theory and real-world classroom application. You don’t just study how to teach, you actively reflect, practice and implement. For someone already working full-time, this program has helped me transform what I already do into what I can do better, with purpose, intention and structure.

My Modules

Curriculum and Learning Management

In this module, I’ve explored how to design child-centered lesson plans, integrate play into structured learning, and evaluate the effectiveness of my teaching through both formative and summative assessments. It’s helped me turn my classroom into a dynamic space where learning feels joyful and intentional.

Principles of the Teaching Profession

This is the heart of what it means to be a teacher, not just what we do, but how and why. We explored the ethics of teaching, classroom conduct, emotional intelligence and the long-term responsibility we carry as role models. It’s made me more reflective and more aware of how every small choice in the classroom matters.

Educational Quality Management

In this module we focused on how to monitor student progress, align our practices with educational standards, and ensure we’re always growing as educators. In my own work, this has translated to being more intentional about collecting student data and using it to adapt my strategies, especially with English language learners who need differentiated approaches.

Educational Innovation and Information Technology

This module explores how teachers can integrate digital tools, online resources, and creative media to enhance teaching and learning. Through this module, students gain the confidence to use technology not just as a teaching aid but as a means of transforming classroom experiences and preparing learners for the digital era.

Communication Language for Teachers

This module focuses on refining how educators express themselves, both in the classroom and in professional environments. Students learn how to communicate clearly, confidently, and compassionately with learners, parents, and colleagues, mastering both verbal and non-verbal communication that strengthens teacher-student relationships.

Self-Actualization for Teachers

In this course, students are encouraged to explore their personal values, motivations, and teaching philosophy. The module focuses on emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and self-growth, helping teachers find purpose and fulfillment in their profession while nurturing a lifelong commitment to continuous improvement.
